B.COSC Artificial Intelligence specialization Laurentian University

I studied AI before beginning my professional career in C#. Since earning my B.COSC at Laurentian, I’ve spent 17+ years building software in enterprise and independently: AI tools, game technology, and simulations. I work across the stack, from product design through services, data, and testing.

Systems with a point of view

I like owning the full problem: the system underneath, the interface on top, and the details that make the product hold together.

02 / Background

Curiosity turned into a career

I like getting inside a system, finding the shape of the problem, and making something useful from it. That instinct carried from early projects into enterprise teams and independent products.

The path so far
FIRST BUILDS

My first code ran on a Commodore 64. In high school, I was already taking freelance software jobs.

LAURENTIAN

My B.COSC focused on AI. Alongside my studies, I ran Laurentian’s university website; that work earned me the Laurentian University Leadership Award.

BLACKBOARD

I spent ten years working remotely on Blackboard’s enterprise education products, building on a career that began in C#.

How I work

Make the whole product make sense.

I move between the interface, domain model, services, and data without losing sight of the product. Patterns and SOLID help keep the code understandable as it grows; testing keeps change safe. I’ve also led teams and handled the planning, coordination, and scheduling that carry work through delivery.

AI and product engineering.

I’m looking for work where applied AI meets real software: C#/.NET depth, product thinking, and the ability to carry an idea through implementation. LinkedIn has my work history; GitHub has the code.
